This book was absolutely awesome. This was a gift and I can't reveal too much information to spoil anything for anyone. What I can tell you is that this book made me feel so much emotion. I was happy, laughing, sad, crying, angry, and wanted to stomp my kindle in a million pieces at points. But as always Quinn is amazing and has written an outstanding book. I couldn't put it down from the first word until the very last word. I stayed up way past my bed time to read every last word.

Jen, Jacque, and Sally never cease to provide comic relief, but they also know how to make you feel the emotions they are feeling. They face another evil that feels impossible but will they all make it out alive?

I highly recommend this book to any young adult fantasy readers. The Grey Wolves Series has been one of my favorite series from the Prince of Wolves book. I am totally fangirling Quinn. LOL.

This was a book filled with suprises and a heart-wrenching ending. It was great to fully be back into the minds and lives of the girls who started this amazing series. While its sad to see that these girls who had been through so much already will be facing more turmoil, I have faith that the author will give us the resolution that we so want.

So until that ending...I will be impatiently waiting for the next!
Ok, words fail me. . . So . . . W. O. W. Just . . . W. O. W.
First, let me say that Quinn Loftis writes really great books, in a series, but books that can be read individually. However, be forewarned that reading just one of her Grey Wolf, Elfen, or Gypsy Healer books will make you want to, no, need to, read the others.
I have every book in this, and the other two, series that Ms. Loftis has written so far and each one just gets better. Better, more involved, the characters more developed and definitely more complex story lines. And WOW, spoiler alert(!!!) . . . Two series now seem to be overlapping more and more and I don't know #1. How I'm going to wait for the next book(s); #2. How can she do something like that without losing the story lines(?!?!); or #3. Which one to read first. My guess is it's really going to come down to which one is published first that I can get my hands on.
The story of the Gray Wolves continues with several new and unexpected twists and turns new villains, added allies, Jacque and Fane are expecting their first child at any time, and Alina jumps into the fray with both feet. And those are by no means the highlights of the book. The highlights are, as always, the witty and sarcastic back and forth repartee between the characters that keeps you, in turn, shaking your head, laughing and crying at the same time. For those of you that remember, think Gilmore Girls. Ms. Loftis definitely has a way with words for her characters and she never disappoints. And you won't be disappointed either.
One more thing . . . . BTW, spoiler alert the ending on this book is a killer . . .??? Hanging much, Ms. Loftis? Write fast ....

Quinn is an amazing person and a wonderfully talented author. This book was just what I needed to get my wolf fix yet still leave me wanting more. I love how the challenges and struggles for each person, couple, and group comes along and shows multiple side of each in individual person but also how they work together. For the alpha males it's a struggle to let their mates do what they feel they need to do but those females have a way of teaching them a thing or two. So didn't see the ending coming and that along with another spot or two had me putting the book down and muttering something along the lines of "that wicked woman is trying to torture me!" So totally worth it though! This one isn't filled with non stop laughs but there are plenty of good ones and all in the right places when the characters need them most and when you need them. I'm already waiting eagerly for the next book!
Because there are so many books in this series and even a spin-off series it's easy to forget how young these females are and how new their relationships are. I've seen some remarks about characters not developing as some feel they should or not having the right amount of depth, bah! For me the characters are amazing. It's so great to see them holding onto who they were before they entered this new world and how far they've come and the changes they have made. Is there room for more learning and improvements? Yes, of course! And I know Quinn will give that in her next book and the one after that.

I was given a copy for an honest review.
So i read this and was amazed and i then received an email saying that about 2500 words was missing from the end of the book. I re read it with the missing words and it was made even better. The emotions and thoughts running through while reading this book were hard to handle at times, i struggled with the children but that is part of being a parent myself, i am looking forward to reading book 10 when it comes out, and i cant wait to see how everyone grows and flourishes as their story gets told.
I went back and forth trying find on where to leave a review for the audio book portion. I have read and love the series from the start. The last 5 books I've also purchased the audio. I paused on the series a little over a year ago. When coming back I started the series over again. I just got to book 9 and was so excited to get started. I've been listening to book 8 while traveling and it was almost over. I went ahead and bought the audio for book 9.. I switched to the next book and I'm soooo disappointed they changed the narrator! The one on book 9 doesn't even pronounce the names the same. I learned the "voices" of each character and it's been hard for me to listen to a completely different style person on the 6th book I bought audio. I'll try to get past it, but if not I'll just have to read the book myself on downtime. I really hope book 10 goes back to the original!
